Faith sees beyond the giant and depends on God’s power rather than human strength

David saw a God who had already proven Himself faithful
David did not trust in Saul’s armor, his own ability, or human weapons; he trusted in the name of the Lord

This is the kind of faith we need in every circumstances
This is the kind of faith we need in evangelism

We may face fear, rejection, opposition, and seemingly impossible situations, but the Gospel does not depend on our eloquence or strength

When we see God as greater than the obstacles before us, and depend completely on His power, we can step forward courageously, and become instruments through whom God reveals His glory, and makes Himself known
